HOW WE STARTED
In 2015, YouTuber Brent "Brentalfloss" Black asked his friend, veteran game developer Julian Spillane, if he would be interested in making a party game that used similar technology as the Jackbox Party Pack. Soon, they were off and running, creating a studio called Smiling Buddha Games and launching a Kickstarter to fund their game. They shared a dream of creating a hilarious party game that could be equally fun for comedians and people with literally no sense of humor:"The party game for funny people and their unfunny friends!"

In 2017, Smiling Buddha Games released Use Your Words and it has since grown into an international cult hit, spawning ports on all major consoles as well as a French language content pack!
